Last of the Garden vines.....

I decided this morning to attend the temple and had a wonderful session.

When I got home I did my morning chores and decided to take a look at the remains of my garden. I planted a lot of vegetables: peas, beans, broccoli, corn, squash, lettuce, carrots, and Yukon gold potatoes. I have dug up all but the squash. It isn't quite ready yet...
This is what is left of my garden. The corn is dead, but squash is taking over

This was the broccoli plant that grew really huge. I only got a small broccoli head from the middle and I never saw anymore after that, but it tasted really good that.

This is an example of the squash that is running rampant through out the gardent....It is so frustrating that none of them are ripe yet. I guess I will have to wait for the first small freeze.

My roommate has grape vines hanging on the arbor outside the backdoor. They are half way to being ready, but they sure do look perty....I mean nice.

Hopefully I will be snacking on squash soon.
